REGISTRATION OF PERSONAL DATA

We collect your data when you purchase products or services from us. This also applies when you use any of our free services on the website or fill in your details during one of our consultations. Forner is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform through which we can sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases, and general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by Forner comply with the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure processing of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We collect your personal data in the following situations:

• When filling out order forms or other forms.

• When visiting our website.

• When carrying out an assignment given to us.

• When filling out a review for a product or service provided to you.

• When signing up for marketing communications.

• When filling out inquiry and contact forms on the website.

• When we receive your personal and/or profile data from third parties, for example, if you have indicated to these third parties that you would like to receive information about our products or services. In such cases, we will inform you of the source of your personal data during our first communication with you.

Wix servers may automatically register certain information, such as URL, IP address, browser type and language, and the date and time of your visit to our websites, including through the use of cookies.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA?

We may share your data with other parties. We will only do so if it is truly necessary for our services. These parties may include one or more of the following:

• Delivery partners

• Assembly partners

• Suppliers

• Service partners

• Payment partners

• IT service providers

Indeed, our delivery, assembly, and service partners need to come to your home to deliver, assemble, or maintain your product.

Our payment partner receives your information to process the payment.

Our IT service providers offer services such as cloud storage, media and advertising services, website maintenance, and review processing.

If legally required, we share your customer data with government authorities.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

The basis for using your personal data is your consent. In the case of an assignment provided to us and/or an agreement entered into with us, the basis for using your personal data is the necessity for the proper execution of that assignment and/or agreement.

For existing customers, the basis is our legitimate interest in making offers to our customers and keeping them informed about our similar products and services.

Your personal data will be used by Forner for the following purposes:

This helps us select products that may interest you and also ensures we do not present products that are likely not of interest to you. 7. Telephone marketing activities will always be duplicated with the Do Not Call registry. However, if you purchase a product or service and provide your phone number, the Do Not Call registry will not be taken into account, as this constitutes a so-called customer relationship.

 

Retention period of personal data

Personal data that we process with your consent is retained for one year.

Personal data that we receive from you in the context of a quote is retained for 2 years. Personal data that we process in the context of an assignment given to us and/or an agreement concluded with us is retained until the service or warranty period has expired.

 

View and Edit Your Data

You can request Forner to:

• Access, modification, or deletion of the personal data that Forner collects about you.

• Restriction of processing of the personal data that Forner collects about you.

• Transfer of the personal data that Forner collects about you.                                                          You can submit your request by sending an email to info@forner.nl. To process your request, we kindly ask you to provide the following details:

• First and last name

• Postal code

• House number

• Your request and/or inquiry

• We would like to explain why we need this information.

• We ask you to provide your full name, postal code, and house number in the email. The correct spelling of your full name is important for our matching process. What this means is explained below. Additionally, you are free to decide if and what additional information you provide.          Why do we need this information? You may be registered multiple times in our system, for example, when you have filled out a form on our website and requested a quote in the store. Your details might be slightly different, such as your initials instead of your full name, or if you have moved, your new address instead of your current one. If your details do not match exactly, it may be that you are registered multiple times in our system.

• We use a matching process to search for entries of your personal data in our system. Simply put, we look for the remaining details based on the information you now provide. The more information you provide, the greater the chance of getting a complete picture of the personal data we have. It is possible that not all of your data will be found, as we may not have been able to "match" them.

• To ensure that the request is made by you, we will send a confirmation email to the email address we have on file once we receive your request. We will only proceed with your request after we have received confirmation from this email.

• Forner strives to process your request as quickly as possible but will do so within the legal period of 1 month at the latest. Once your request has been processed, we will provide you with the necessary information. If your request is unexpectedly denied (this could be because your request contradicts the law), we will, of course, explain why Forner could not process your request.

• The information you provide will only be used to handle your request. After your request is completed, this information will be deleted.

• You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you wish.

• Right to object
  You can always indicate that you do not wish to be contacted for marketing activities.
