Forner's extremely scratch-resistant high-gloss acrylic furniture panels and fronts are an innovative material for furniture production.
Forner's acrylic furniture panels are based on four components: MDF, acrylic film (a plastic resistant to external factors), PVC antiflex and waterproof film, and waterproof PUR glue.

Key Features
Fast and easy
Acrylic fronts are produced much faster than painted fronts. The material processing is simpler and less time-consuming. Once the protective film is removed, the product is ready for use. After the protective film is removed, polishing is no longer necessary.
Scratch resistant
Excellent scratch resistance and abrasion resistance. Classifications are -- 1,1N Erichsen DIN 68861/ T4 IHD-W-466 Class 1
Antibacterial protection
High-gloss furniture panels have antibacterial properties that reduce bacteria and germs by 99.9% within 24 hours. The antibacterial effect of the matt surfaces has been tested according to the ISO 22196 / JIS Z2801 standard and confirmed by an independent, certified research institute.
UV Resistant
Increased UV resistance.
Chemical resistance
High chemical resistance compared to other products. This also makes the product extremely stain resistant.
Colours
Forner high gloss acrylic panels are available in 18 colours. Other colours on request. Regardless of the date of your original order, the colour of the next order will be the same as before thanks to colour repeatability.
Durability of the colour
Forner's acrylic film does not oxidize, so the color retains its depth and clarity for years.
Ecology and environment
We pay great attention to protecting our environment. Additionally, we only use wood-based products that are FSC certified.

Aftercare
Easy to clean. Just use a microfiber or cotton cloth with a 1% solution of soap and water.
Furniture core board
Forner furniture board is mainly produced on the basis of MDF board.
The size of the board is 2800 x 1300 mm.
On request we can produce furniture boards on a different carrier.

Colour matching
Approximate colour matches of furniture panels can be found in the NCS, RAL and PANTONE colour palettes.
The colour code of our product usually corresponds to one of these palettes.
Edge banding
We have edges that are 100% color and material-matched to high-gloss furniture panels. The edges are available in sizes 23/1 mm and 43/1 mm and are made from the same material that Forner uses for its high-gloss panels.
Thicker edges are also available on the market from edge manufacturers, which can be color-matched to high-gloss panels.
The processing of the edges for high-gloss panels follows the same process as for PVC edges. A standard edge banding machine is used. For bonding the edge, we use waterproof PUR glue, but other adhesives can also be used. The glue is applied hot and then pressed cold with the pressure roller.
Our PUR glue is heated to a temperature of 140 degrees, the same as for Cleaf or acrylic edges, despite the 0.35 mm thickness of the high-gloss panels. The secret lies in a well-prepared front. The edge line is nearly invisible. It also depends on the knowledge and positioning of the machine you're working with, as well as an eye for aesthetics.
