Forner x Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts (Poznan)
Today we invite you to visit the gallery, which focuses on the common denominator: Magdalena Abakanowicz. You already know that the Forner exhibition at Warsaw Home was prepared by artists from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University in Poznań. The author of the smartwall concept is Dr. Hab. Mateusz Wróblewski of the same university, who, as last year, was also responsible for the Forner exhibition project. The sculptures you have seen and which we present here in the gallery are the works of Igor Mikoda, a lecturer at the university. The Forner exhibition served as a narrative backdrop for Igor's sculptures, sharply shaped and rhetorically powerful. In their figurative nature and specific location, one could find references to people expelled from paradise. In the area designated "café," exhibits from the "In Fact" series, also featuring university artists Monika Kaźmierska and Tomasz Agaciński, were on display. This was part of a four-part diploma project addressing the needs of ownership, accumulation, and thus habitation and storage. But before we offer you a pleasant contemplation, we introduce the team from the University's Institute for Idea Implementation: (Top row, from left to right: Mateusz Wróblewski, Jacek Kiełbasiński, Karolina Cieślak, Michał Filipiak, Krystian Kuliński, Małgorzata Ratajczak; bottom row: Tomasz Agaciński, Monika Kaźmierska, Kamil Golka).
